Objectives of Education

Department of Hotel sommelier&Barista aims to create a future-oriented food and beverage culture in line with the internationalised food and beverage culture by educating sommeliers who recommend wines that go with food and discern wines, and baristas who make coffee taste properly and produce various coffee creations, and also to train global talents and top professionals in the hotel food and beverage field for internships and overseas employment in domestic hotels based on practical on-the-job training programs and foreign language education.

Characteristics of Education

In order to create a future-oriented food and beverage culture in line with the internationalised food and beverage culture, we offer sommelier courses to recommend wines that go well with food and discern wines, and barista courses to properly taste coffee and create various coffee productions. In addition, based on practical-oriented on-site training programmes and foreign language education, we train global talents and top experts in the field of hotel food and beverage for overseas internships and employment in domestic hotels. We focus on on-demand practical training through industry-academia collaboration. We provide on-site training in various services to satisfy the needs of industry and customers.
