As the demand for emergency medical care is increasing rapidly and the number of emergencies is constantly increasing due to the increase in various diseases, accidents, injuries and disasters that threaten human life, the need and importance of first-grade paramedics with professional first aid skills is increasing. In order to provide systematic and professional emergency medical care to emergency patients, we cultivate expertise and skills to strengthen first aid capabilities, and foster professional first aiders by improving practical coping skills through various skill guidance, clinical practice at the Foundation Hospital (Daedong Hospital), and internships under the guidance of excellent faculty members.
This department is designed to provide on-the-job training for students to acquire the professional knowledge, skills, and attitudes they should have as a first responder based on specialized knowledge and theories to provide prompt and appropriate first aid at emergency sites. In addition, the purpose of the course is to train first responders who have cultivated the ability to cope with various emergency situations and perform their duties through the operation of courses to obtain certification and on-the-job training at medical institutions and first aid.
